Background info
Crops are grown for different types of products. Some of the products, e.g. vegetable leaves can be obtained from the plant on a regular (daily) basis, while others, e.g. roots and tubers are usually harvested after the plant has raeched its maturity. Regardless of the kind of produce obtained from a crops farming enterprise, an elaborate and well informed marketing strategy is necessary so as to turn the harvested produce into profit. This page will provide information resources that will contribute to maximising the proftability of crop farming enterprises in Africa and other developing countries. You are welcome to contribute any relevant materials. Contact info@elewa.org or sarah@elewa.org.
